Welcome to our Eko-Energy Workshop Tutorials! Here you will find everything you need to feel confident and empowered for some fabulous STEM Inspiration. In our experience the best way to prepare for the workshops is to run through the video tutorials - following along with the practical activities yourself. Practice makes progress - you will enjoy the live delivery much more if you have practiced it in advance, and you may even want to have a go at leading a session yourself... In the online training you will find: 1 - Safeguarding tutorial - mandatory for every participant to complete. 2 - A video tutorial of Ann giving an example of how to run through the 2 workshops: Exploring Energy and Nifty Nuclear. The duration in the classroom is expected to be 50 minutes, whereas the video tutorials are much shorter. In reality plenty of time is needed for class interaction and slower progress with the practical activities as the children will need help with the fiddly parts of the activities. There is a lot to fit into the 50 mins - you won't be wondering how to fill the time! 3 - The Powerpoint slides with notes to help you practice the sessions and key messages. 4 - Cheat sheet as a high-level support sheet you are welcome to print out and take with you, or use as inspiration to make your own. 5 - Completion certificate for each session that the school will be provided to display in the classroom and email home if they want to (the certificate is provided for your information only).
